Representatives from the West Adelaide Football Club have this week made their way to Roxby Downs, running training sessions with local football teams and school students.
Gemma Prendergast, WAFC's dietician, dropped in on RoxFM's Hub Cap to talk about the free nutrition sessions she's running in town.
The first session will be held at 10am at the Community Youth Centre and is all about nutrition for children.
Gemma said this session is ideal for parents that have "children aged 0 to 12."
"We'll have a morning tea, the Community Foodies are going to do a demonstration, and I'll have a bit of a chat so it'll be a fun morning,"
Later that evening Gemma will be running a session with the Starclub Development Program for people interested in how sports people should be constructing their diets.
"We'll talk about good foods to eat, what's good and bad, and supplements and whatever you want to ask me!
"That'll be at 7 o'clock at the Community Youth Centre!"
